The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a completely online, UK OFQUAL-accredited qualification. It aims to increase and develop learners’ knowledge and skills in first aid at work. In achieving this Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF), all learners will cover the basics of first aid including roles and responsibilities, incident assessment and managing and administering first aid to casualties in a variety of situations. You are not required to have any prior qualification or experience to start this course, just an appetite for learning.

Scope of this Qualification

This qualification will prepare you to perform first aid at your workplace and will equip you with exceptional skills to perform safe and effective first aid on the people around you in an emergency. Potential learners can be from any field or sector, regardless of their expertise.

Duration and Delivery

The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is designed in a way that learners can complete it at their own pace. As they see fit, they can take as little as 1 day or up to 5 days to complete the course. This level 3 qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) with 24/7 online tutor support.

Assessment and Verification

Which first aid qualification is suitable for you?

The most likely courses for you would be the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course (ideal for low risk environments such as offices), or the 3 day First Aid at Work course which is more suited to high risk environments (such as where there are higher numbers of staff, the staff are older & therefore more likely to have serious health problems at work), or where the nature of the work is such that injuries are more likely.
