Course Units
To achieve this qualification, you must complete 11 mandatory units. The details of the units are as follows;
- Unit 1-3: Develop strong client relationships, manage caseloads effectively, and improve your service through ongoing self-evaluation
- Learn how to build trust and communicate effectively with clients through active listening and professional interaction
- Understanding of managing caseloads responsibly and reflect on your practice to support continuous improvement
- Unit 4-6: Work within professional networks, apply legislation and procedures, and support clients in effectively accessing services
- Learn about working within formal and informal networks to enhance service delivery and share essential information
- Understand how to apply legislation and procedures to provide ethical, safe guidance while helping clients access the right support
- Unit 7-9: Support clients in choosing a course of action, preparing for it, and reviewing progress to guide next steps
- Learn about helping clients explore options and make informed decisions based on their goals and needs
- Know about supporting implementation and review progress to evaluate outcomes and plan next steps
- Unit 10-11: Undertake research to improve advice and guidance services and facilitate group learning to support client understanding and engagement
- Conduct research to inform service improvement and support effective decision-making and resource development
- Lead group learning sessions to engage clients, build knowledge, and promote shared understanding
