Learners must fulfil the practical requirement of Unit 2 to complete this course. This unit requires you to have access to two learners of yours; these learners must be enrolled in a work-based accredited course so you can access their competency in the work environment. This involves designing and conducting assessments within a real-world environment, as simulations are not permitted.
Assessment for this course is carried out in the form of a portfolio consisting of written assignments and evidence of demonstration of assessment skills. All assignments are assessed internally by our qualified assessors and then externally verified by the Awarding Body. The details of the submission of the portfolio will be provided by the tutor once the learner is enrolled.
The successful completion of this qualification enables you to become an assessor and carry out assessments in a work environment using multiple methods, such as workplace evidence, live or remote observation, witness testimony and discussion.
